Auto-Clear option

  If you have Auto-Clear turned on (see figure 5.24),

nxqddb will automatically clear the entries when you save your entry. The Auto-Clear menubutton will have a red square when the option is turned on.

In most cases, you'll want to have Auto-Clear turned on. However, if most of the information is duplicated among your entries, you'll likely want to turn Auto-Clear off so that you can save some typing.

The best way to see how Auto-Clear works is to try adding records with (1) Auto-Clear turned on and then with (2) Auto-Clear turned off and observe the different behavior.
